Understanding Early Onset Dementia in Diverse Communities

YPWD (Younger People With Dementia) in Partnership with Slough CVS would like to invite you to our inaugural online workshop ‘Demystifying and Destigmatising Young Onset Dementia in Diverse Communities ’ with a focus on taking the mystery out of dementia in various communities. Come learn, explore, and raise awareness of your own knowledge as well as your community in dementia.

At the end of the workshop, participants are expected to know and understand the difference between normal aging processes versus symptoms of dementia and young onset dementia. There will be sign-posting opportunities with tips on handling a diagnosis of dementia and where to access support.
